- Riders: Bring helmet, riding gear, jacket, leather boots, and a valid motorcycle drivers license
- Clothing: Costa Rica is a very informal and casual country. Formal attire is only used in the city of San Jose and on very special occasions (Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries)
- We recommend to bring a sweater for the highland areas, and light loose fitting shirts, pants or jeans, and shorts for the lowland areas
- For the beach areas please don't forget to bring a hat or cap, sunscreen, and sun glasses
- For the rainforest and the National Parks we recommend hiking boots, a small backpack, water bottle, pocket knife, flashlight, insect repellent, rainwear, and a pair of binoculars to observe animals.
Day 1
Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to El Presidente hotel in downtown San Jose for your first night.

Day 2
Early in the morning, transfer to our office to pick up your bike, start your ride to Irazu Volcano, Costa Rica's highest volcano. Continue south to Turrialba dotted with coffee, banana and sugar cane plantation and overnight at Villa Florencia.

Day 3
Ride south the Panamerican Highway crossing the “hill of death”, discovering the exotic southern region of Costa Rica, Dominical beach.
Located south of Manuel Antonio this area has become in the last couple of years, a favorite stop for many tourists. In here you will find miles of unspoiled lonely beaches, beautiful bays along the coast, and the tiny village of Dominical which offers various cozy restaurants and “sodas” (local food). For surfing, fishing, and diving, you will be at the right place!

Day 4
To make a longer day ride, drive south to Golfito and enjoy a delicious lunch on the bay. Turn back to Dominical, and loop through pineapple, banana and coffee plantations and continue on to the famous port town of Quepos, and then to Manuel Antonio National Park.
Note: Manuel Antonio National Park is closed on Mondays.
Considered to be Costa Rica’s most beautiful park, with enchanting white-sand beaches ideal for swimming, and tropical rainforest forest alive with wildlife. Watch for the monkeys and iguanas who share the park with you. Most hotels are small and intimate, set high on a hill overlooking the rain forest, endless beaches and the national park. Day 5
Ride north to Nosara Beach, take the Panamerican highway north and turn left to cross over the Tempisque River, continue your ride towards Samara Beach and take the detour north to Nosara.
Nosara region, which includes Playa Ostional, San Juanillo, Playa Pelada, and Playa Guiones, is one of the most pristine beach spots of Costa Rica. It is great for surfing, fishing, and other fun water activities. One of its main attractions is the Ostional National Wildlife Refuge where thousands of endangered Pacific Olive Ridley sea turtles show up every year for the “arribada” or turtle nesting.

Day 6
In the dry season take the gravel road north to reach the Tamarindo on the way you will find plenty of beautiful beaches.
Both nature and beach lovers will find plenty here to fill their days. Tamarindo is famous for its stunning beaches, its marine national park and wildlife refuge. This area encompasses beaches that attract one of the largest leatherback turtle populations in the world. Peak nesting seasons in the area are October through January. Due to its constant waves, it is also one of the favorite places for surfers.

Day 7
Just relax on the beach or enjoy optional tours available from the area or explore the area on your bike.

Day 8
Continue north via Liberia and reach Rincon de La Vieja National Park.
This park is named after the active Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. Being one of the most accessible volcanoes of the area, you can reach the numerous cones, craters, and lagoons either on horseback or by foot. In here you will also find fumaroles and boiling mud pools, steam vents, and sulfurous hotsprings with therapeutic properties. Day 9
Ride south passing the scenic Lake Arenal, continue your ride to the Arenal Volcano area. Visit the deliciously warm thermal waters.
Arenal’s perfectly symmetrical shape makes it a sightseer’s dream, while its abundance of outdoor activities makes it an easy place to check things off your “must-do in Costa Rica” list. So visit one of the nicest volcanoes in Costa Rica, cloud forests, a lake world-famous for windsurfing and an incredibly diverse population of wildlife is just part of what you will find in this amazing area of Costa Rica.

Sarapiqui (B)
In the morning you have time to take a tour or explore the area. Continue your ride to the Caribbean Lowlands to the Sarapiquí region for some excellent wildlife sightseeing.
On the banks of the Puerto Viejo River 42 miles north of San Jose and next to the Braulio Carrillo National Park, this place is known to be one of the richest areas for bird watching.
The diversity of lowlands bird life is impressive. A biological research station and several forest lodges nearby have made this undisturbed habitat accessible to scientists and many travelers. Various tours are offered by some of the lodges including canopy, horseback, hiking, birding tours, and rafting on the Sarapiqui River.
